In October our students attended a charity seminar hosted by Leicester TSD in aid of Myositis UK. Organised to celebrate the promotion of Master Dearnley to 4th Dan Master the seminar was attended by over a hundred GBTSDA students from across the country and raised £1427.
Master Dearnley suffered with Myositis as a child and included Tang Soo Do in his physio to aid in his recovery. He was presented in August this year with his 4th Dan Master belt by Grandmaster Strong in a ceremony in Nottingham. His well-deserved promotion epitomises true determination and strength through many years of training while overcoming such a serious condition.
